Renovation of a municipal facility in Forest Grove, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Town Center Public Improvements Bid vetting will be conducted and results confirmed before awarding. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring actual receipt of the bid by the City of Forest Grove at the place and time designated. Question Submission Deadline:February 20, 2025, 5:00pm Please submit questions electronically via the Portal's Question & Answer (Q&A) tab for this project by 5:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025 A bid bond on the City's Bid Guaranty form of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid. All bidders must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board prior to submitting bids. Failure to be registered will be sufficient cause to reject a bid as "non- responsive." The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the City it is in the public interest to do so. The City reserves the right, but is not obligated, to waive any irregularities or informalities in its sole and absolute discretion. The City does not intend to pre-qualify any bidders for this project. All bids submitted for this project will be considered provided that they meet the criteria set forth in the bid documents with respect to submission in a timely manner, bonding, and all other applicable requirements. However, all bidders will be checked against the Bureau of Labor and Industries and the Construction Contractor's Board list of contractors ineligible to receive public works contracts. The work generally consists of providing all construction services, equipment, necessary tools, materials, fuel, personnel, supervision, and labor required to complete the preparation and placement as specified herein: The project involves numerous miscellaneous improvements in the downtown core. Elements include: o 1. Removal and replacement of approximately 25 garbage receptacles. New receptacles will be owner supplied. o 2. Removal of 22 street trees (including stump grinding as necessary). o 3. Replant 19 street trees. o 4. Remove tree grates (approximately 110) and replace with flexible porous surface treatment (FPST). o 5. Sidewalk panel removal and replacement (approximately 64 panels). o 6. Brick veneer repair (approximately 100 lineal feet).
