Site work for a mixed-use development in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work consists of modifications and additions to an existing marina. The modifications proposed include modifications to floating Dock G, Floating Dock H, and Floating Dock I, as well as the addition of a rental dock at the entrance of the north basin. On floating dock G, the proposed work consists of the removal of one (1) 12' x 55' floating dock on the channel ward side of the basin and the removal of one (1) 4' x 40' finger dock on the landward side of the basin. In addition, the work includes the addition of one (1) 4' x 40' finger dock on the channel ward side of floating dock G and the addition of an 8' x 30' dock extension. On floating dock H, the proposed work consists of the addition of six (6) 3' x 20' finger docks with pilings to create additional rental slips. In addition, the proposed work includes the addition of twenty (20) 6' x 12.8' PWC rental platforms along floating dock H. Floating dock H will be accessible by the addition of two (2) 4' x 46' aluminum gangways at each end of the floating dock. On floating dock I, the work consists of the addition of thirteen (13) new 4' x 40' finger docks with pilings to create boat slips 13-25 that will be approximately 23' in width. Finally, the work includes the addition of one (1) 12' x 80' rental dock to be located at the entrance of the north basin and will be accessible by a 4' x 45' aluminum gangway that will be attached to a proposed 8' x 16' fixed pier head. The applicant also proposes the installation of fourteen (14) new dock service towers with water and electrical connections. It is understood that this work is to be conducted on/or adjacent to an area subject to a prism and/or disposal area held by the United States. Appropriate provisions will be included in the permit to ensure the interests of the Federal Government are understood.
