Renovation of an educational facility in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Vendor shall provide all necessary labor, equipment and materials to remove and replace existing cold room refrigeration equipment. All work shall be performed during normal work hours. Work shall include as follows: 1. To Remove The Existing Evaporator And Water Cooled Condenser From Atop And Inside The Cold Room Rm. 421 2. To Install New Refrigeration Equipment That Is Capable Of Maintaining 4C +/- 1C. Install New Line set To The New Evaporator And Condenser 3. To Connect Drain On New Evaporator To Existing Drain Line 4. To Connect All Associated Electrical To New Evaporator And Condenser 5. To Pressure Test The Refrigerant Circuits, Pull A Vacuum, And Charge Units To Specification And Check For Proper Operations 6. Owner Shall Do Any Ceiling Removal Required Location: MUSC Thurmond/Gazes Research Bldg. Rm 421 Address: 114 Doughty Charleston, SC 29425 Point of Contact: Daniel White, 843-792-2815, whitda@musc.edu The Vendor shall clean the Project site and work areas daily, including common areas and dispose of materials lawfully. Comply with requirements in NFPA 241 for removal of combustible waste materials and debris. Do not hold waste materials more than seven days during normal weather or three days if the temperature is expected to rise above 80 deg F Handle hazardous and unsanitary waste materials separately from other waste. Mark containers appropriately and dispose of legally, according to regulations. Use containers intended for holding waste materials of type to be stored. Work Areas: Clean areas where work is in progress to the level of cleanliness necessary for proper execution of the Work. 1. Remove liquid spills promptly. 2. Where dust would impair proper execution of the Work, broom-clean or vacuum the entire work area, as appropriate. Keep installed work clean. Clean installed surfaces according to written instructions of manufacturer or fabricator of product installed, using only cleaning materials specifically recommended. If specific cleaning materials are not recommended, use cleaning materials that are not hazardous to health or property and that will not damage exposed surfaces. During handling and installation, clean and protect construction in progress and adjoining materials already in place. Apply protective covering where required to ensure protection from damage or deterioration at Substantial Completion.
