The Commissioners of Public Works of the City of Charleston, South Carolina, is requesting interested Contractors to complete an Application for Prequalification of Bidders for providing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for construction of the Town of Sullivan's Island SCIIP Water Main Relocation Project located in the Town of Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. The Work to be performed consists of approximately two horizontal offsets of an existing 20-inch DIP transmission main along Middle Street to accommodate new storm drainage. The vertical offsets include the installation of line stops, bypass piping, hydrant relocations as needed, and other associated appurtenances necessary to accommodate the line stop, offset, and maintain water service to the area. Neither the Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or sufficiency of the Application, including any Addenda, obtained from any other source. The Owner will not accept bids from Contractors who fail to submit timely applications for prequalification or from Contractors who fail to prequalify. The project will be bid at a later date as part of the Town of Sullivan's Island SCIIP Stormwater Improvements Project.
