Renovation of a residential development in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Housing Authority of Mt. Vernon (HAMV) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the replacement of roofs on at least for ty (40) single-family homes located in the College Oaks development. College Oaks is a scattered site tax credit program with single-family homes located throughout the South Town area of Mt. Vernon, Illinois. The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure a contractor who can provide high-quality workman-ship, adhere to project deadlines, and comply with all applicable regulations and codes. II. Scope of Work The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: o Inspection and re-pair/replacement of roof decking as need ed. Installation of new flashing. Installation of new asphalt shingles or approved equivalent roofing materials. (18 square) Installation of new ridge vent. Compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes. Cleanup and disposal of all debris related to the project. Licensing and Insurance: Proof of all required licenses and insurance, including general liability and workers compensation coverage.
