Notice is hereby given that the Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority (MCRWMA) has released project number RFP20250207MCRWMA - Solid Waste Master Plan Development. MCRWMA is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a Solid Waste Master Plan. MCRWMA aims to develop a Solid Waste Master Plan that outlines a strategy for optimizing the remaining development of its landfills, reflecting both current and emerging needs and space allocation. The plan will serve as a key communication tool for regulators, the MCRWMA Governing Board, neighboring communities, employees, and other stakeholders. It will help answer questions, guide decisions on site utilization, identify and prepare for future capital improvement needs, providing guidelines for orderly expansion and assisting with future permit requirements. Proposers are responsible for making certain their proposal documentation is complete and is received by MCRWMA on or before the closing deadline. MCRWMA is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in responding to the RFP. MCRWMA reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Any alterations to the RFP will be made by written addenda only. Communications from proposers shall be submitted in writing (email) to Alexandra Arroyo, Procurement Specialist II, for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other MCRWMA employees or consultants with respect to the proposal documents or project.
