Renovation of a medical facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The project, located at the Columbus Public Health building just east of downtown Columbus, consists of updating Elevator 1, one of five existing elevators dating from a massive renovation project from over twenty years ago. These elevators consist of four (4) passenger elevators and one (service) elevator, all originally manufactured by the Dover Elevator. In order to meet the user's needs for the next twenty years, these elevators require replacing outdated and end-of-life equipment with new and repairing and maintaining existing equipment where appropriate. Questions pertaining to the drawings and specifications, IFB, and/or other contract documents must be submitted in writing only to the Architect/Engineer Hardlines Design, ATTN: Vivian Majtenyi via email [vmajtenyi@hardlinesdesign.com] prior to February 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM local time. No phone calls will be accepted. Questions regarding the IFB (excluding the drawings and specifications) should be submitted to Jennifer Henderson Thomas, City of Columbus, Office of Construction Management, via email [jrhenderson@columbus.gov] prior to February 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM local time. All work shall be substantially complete within 180 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The bid bond amount shall be equal to or exceed ten percent (10%) of this total amount. If the contract amount is to be in excess of $100,000.00, the successful bidder will be required to secure a contract performance and payment bond in the amount of 50 - 100 percent of the contract price, including the guarantee period, in accordance with Columbus City Code Chapter 329 and the current edition of the City of Columbus Ohio Construction and Material Specifications (CMS), to assure the faithful performance of the work
