Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbus, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of May 1, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase and is on hold. Engineer information and a firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The College of Pharmacy is collaborating with the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center for the Renovation of three adjacent Labs on the third floor of Parks Hall. The Lab type and use is changing from ‘biological chemistry’ to ‘synthetic chemistry’ and renovation is crucial in retaining and recruiting faculty. The project scope consists of renovating Rooms 350, 353 and 357 on the north end of the third floor. Work includes removal of six existing fume hoods, removal and reconfiguration of walls, removal of existing cabinets, lab benches and sinks. Abatement of any hazardous materials will also be included. Installation of new fume hoods, modern cabinetry, open shelving, and a new nitrogen generator are all included in the project. The existing Supply Air and Exhaust system servicing the project area will need to be tested by a TAB contractor at the start of design services.
