The project scope includes finishes and accessibility changes at two existing buildings. Construction on the Shower Building: Installation of plumbing fixtures, removal and replacement of existing copper piping with PEX piping, new interior finishes, new lighting, new exterior doors, new roofing fascia & soffit and toilet room specialties. Completion date for the work at this building is May 19, 2025Construc-tion on the Shelter Building: Installation of plumbing fixtures, new interior finishes. new lighting, enlarged toilet toilet rooms, new roofing fascia & soffit and toilet room specialties New overhead doors will be bid as an alternate. There ere is is not a fee t to obtain the documents electronically No proposal shall be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract price within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. No Bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (30) days after the bid opening without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive irregularities in the bids received and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
