Site work for a water / sewer project in Medora, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

This is a invitation for bid (IFB) for a lift station construction project located at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This is an invitation for bids. The resulting contract is expected to be a firm fixed price construction contract. The complete specifications, drawings, provisions and clauses are available on http://www.sam.gov. Project Description: Work includes partial removal and replacement of the sanitary sewer system at the south unit campground within Theodore Roosevelt National Park. This will include removing the power feed to the existing lift station, force main as needed for the new installations, installation of new gravity sewer connections, new dual pump sewage lift station and valve vault with automatic controls/flow measurement and new force main connecting to a new drain field. Demolition of the existing sewer system (lift station, valve vault, electrical panel, etc) at Cottonwood Campground north lift station including abandoning the existing drain field (by others). NPS will complete this work outside of this contract. New dual pump lift station to include submersible pumps, stainless steel guiderails, stainless steel hangers, chains, floats, automatic controls, flow measurement, power surge protection and motor saver protection. New wet well sized for the existing and future needs. The wet well cover shall be easy to lift, be lockable and have fall safety grates incorporated within the cover. New valve vault to include check valves, gate valves and force main drain valves. Boring or trenching a new force main extending from the new lift station valve vault to the new drain field. One new community drain field with a space identified for a future drain field replacement. Project Location: Located north of Medora, Billings County, North Dakota within Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Magnitude of Project: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 Bonds: Required as stated in block 12. A bid guarantee is required 20%. Bid bond is required to be submitted on a Standard Form 24. A copy of the bid guarantee shall be emailed with your bid package. Performance and Payment bonds/protection in the amount of 100% of final contract award amount. NAIC Code: 237110 (Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction). The small business size standard is $45 million. Notice of Set Aside: This project is set aside for ISBEE contractors. Site Visit: A site visit is highly encouraged. A site visit is schedule for April 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Bid Additive: Prior to the opening of bids, the Government will determine the amount of funds available for the project. Evaluation of bid additive CLIN will be evaluated as part of the base award and be exercisable at amounts specified in the bid schedule received. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for bid additive CLIN to the total price for the base requirement. Evaluation of bid additive CLIN will not obligate the Government to exercise the bid additive CLIN over the available funds. Schedule: The Government anticipates that the work will be completed in 180 calendar days. Final performance period start date is contingent on issuance of Notice to Proceed. Wage Rates: Wage rate determinations (Construction) formerly known as the Davis Bacon Act are incorporated into the terms and conditions as attachments.
