Renovation of an educational facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

A. Summary Project Description: Window replacement of existing ribbon windows with new window systems and associated repairs including: new window sill wall, new stool, lintel painting, masonry repairs, flashing installation, patch and repair adjacent finishes, painting and window treatments.. B. Single contract will be awarded responsbile for coordinating all trades to complete project. C. A concurrent capital improvement project and campus projects are anticipated to take place durring the window replacement project. This will require scheduling coordination by all parties involved. Room numbers and layouts shown on these drawings are subject to change as a result of this concurrent project. Exterior access to window systems may be limited durring demolition of the existing entry canopy and construction of the new entry canopy on the adjacent elevation in the capital improvements project. D. The Building will be partially occupied by the College and the Contractor will need to closely coordinate sequencing of construction with the achadmic calander and College operations. Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, will receive bids from contractors for NMC Window Replacement 1957 Addition located at 50 West Fall Creek Parkway North Drive Indianapolis, Indiana. The Owner intends to enter into one contract with the Contractor that submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid and who will be fully responsible for coordination of all required work between all trades. Note a distinctly separate window replacement project for the 1965 addition of the building will be bid at the same time intending to be a separate contract to the owner with a different construction schedule. Evaluation of the proposals and award will be at a later day. Bidder questions are due by 5 PM., EST on February 12, 2025. All bidders are required to furnish Bid Security in the amount of ten (10%) of the base bid. All prices shall be free of all Federal Excise Taxes and State Sales Tax. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the requirement of State Board of Trustees Resolution No. 2017-4 as it relates to use of apprentices. The owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid. Bids to shall remain firm for 120 days from date of Bid Opening.
