Renovation of an educational facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project includes, but is not limited to, removing existing electrical panelboards and replacing them with new equipment in different locations. New electrical branch circuit panelboards, panelboard feeders, and branch circuits to be provided. Stairwell and corridor modifications will be provided to secure electrical panel enclosures. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. Substantial Completion: August 1, 2025 Final Completion: September 30, 2025 Site Tour(s) Location Meeting Site: Pearson Hall-East Entry, 505 Morrill Rd, Ames, IA Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. The Iowa Board of Regents seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses as specified in the Project Requirements. The Iowa Board of Regents, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
