The East Aurora School District #131 will be accepting bids for masonry repairs at Gates Elementary School, and East Aurora High School, located in Aurora, IL. Prevailing wage rates shall apply to this Project. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent bidding and contract documents including Contractor qualifications as specified in said documents. February 20, 2025 Last Day for Bidder Questions GENERAL NOTES 1. Cordogan Clark & Associates, hereafter referred to collectively as "Engineer or Architect'' shall not have control over or charge of and shall not be responsible for construction means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures, or for safety precautions and safety programs in connection with the project, since these are the responsibility of others. 2. All construction shall be in accordance with local governing building codes and all applicable federal, state, and local codes. 3. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the governing edition of all Codes and Standards shall apply. 4. The contractor shall perform work in accordance with the applicable requirements of the governing edition of the Williams-Steiger Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). 5. Any necessary or requested changes in any of the work specified shall be submitted for review to the Owner and the Architect with adequate time for review before changes are implemented.
