The Town's Select Board reserves the right to reject or accept any bid that is in the best interests of the Town, and will do so at their public meeting at 6:30 pm in the Town Hall on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. The victorious bidder will have to provide proof of insurance. Mowing Specifications: 1. Take care of the things below no more than once a week during the summer and every two weeks in the fall and spring. a. Hinsdale Athletic Field at South Street (Route 8). b. Town Hall on South Street (Route 8). c. Hinsdale Fire Department (Route 143). d. Hinsdale Department of Public Works (Route 143). e. Bridge Street (sides that cross the railroad tracks) f. Railway/Depot Park (across from Ashmere Realty and along the rails) g. Community Center and Kiddie Park (Route 143) h. Hinsdale Beach and Plunkett Reservoir Causeway (Longview Avenue) 2. Belmont Reservoir Buildings and adjacent areas. 3. Town Common/Welcome to Hinsdale Area on Lower Main Street (Route 8), near the pizza place. 4. The Hinsdale Public Library should be cut once a week during the summer, twice a month in the fall and spring, and on the Friday before Memorial Day. The Maple Street Cemetery will be addressed once a week throughout the summer and once every week and a half in the fall and spring, with a general spring and fall clean-up. 5. During summer, the Cemetery near Bissellville Estates (off Route 8) and Israel Bissell Site (on Plunkett Reservoir Rd) will be addressed at least twice a month. 6. The Plunkett Dam Spillway will be mowed once per month from April to November. 7.
