Site work for a transportation facility in Shelton, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The work to be performed by the consultant consists of engineering design and PS&E development for the closure, removal, and roadway Rehabilitaion of three abandoned railroad crossing locations in the downtown Shelton area. Anticipated services include survey and mapping, street design/reclamation, environmental permitting support, public outreach and engagement support, contract document preparation (plans, specifications and estimates), and bidding assistance. The City of Shelton reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with these projects. This project is funded through the Federal 2023 Rail-Highway Crossings Program and is therefore subject to Federal EEO requirements and the Washington State Department of Transportaion's Local Agency Guidelines (LAG). A mandated DBE Goal of zero percent (0%) has been established for this design project. Selection of firms will be based on the following criteria: o Qualificators and Experience of the proposed firm o The proposed team's (project manager's and key team members') knowledge and project experience with WSDOT/FHWA Standards, processes, and completing projects following the LAG o Compassion, capacity, and availability of the key team members o Approach to the project to ensure successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality of the project o Communicaton skills
