Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Columbia, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 41,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Construct new 41,000 square foot slab on grade addition consisting of new competition gymnasium, concession area, restrooms and storm shelter rated locker rooms. New addition to be constructed with precast concrete walls, structural steel, exterior metal studs, masonry veneer, metal panels. EPDM roofing, aluminum storefronts and curtain walls. Interior construction consists of CMU walls, metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, carpet and resilient flooring, gym wood flooring, plumbing, fire sprinkler, HVAC, and electric.
