Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 57,942-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

South Madison Demolitions and Site Restorations Question Deadline 03/20/2025 at 4:00 PM CT SCOPE OF WORK This contract is for the hazmat remediation and demolition of structures, site features and asphalt and/or concrete paving located at five addresses in Madison, WI. Parcel addresses are • 810 West Badger Rd. • 818 West Badger Rd. • 814-826 North Ave. • 1810 South Park St. • 1901-1915 South Park St. The contract work shall be as described in the plans, specifications, and bid item summaries. The work shall include but not be limited to the following: • Installation of tree protection and erosion control measures. • Protecting right of way easements for use during construction. • Removal of all hazardous materials and devices according to all regulatory codes and provide copies of the manifests to the Project Manager. • Recycling of building materials per the City of Madison approved recycling and reuse plans and providing copies of the manifests to the Project Manager. • Plugging existing sanitary service laterals to the structures. • Demolition and removal of the structures (including footings, foundations, basement floors, concrete steps and ramps), • Removal of asphalt or concrete paving, concrete steps/sidewalk, concrete paving, curb and gutter and aprons. • Installation of six inches of clean subsoil and six inches of clean topsoil in all disturbed areas. • Re-grading the disturbed area, seeding and installation of protective matting as specified in these special provisions. • Constructing new concrete curb and gutter within the street right-of-way with asphalt patching. Project Summary: The City of Madison has acquired the property located at 810 West Badger Road for land banking purposes as part of the South Park Street and West Badger Road Redevelopment plan. Property Description: The office and warehouse structure were originally constructed in 1970 and is a one story, slab on grade property of approximately 17,909 total square feet. The building consists of 13,357 square feet of office space and a warehouse area of approximately 4,552 square feet. The building is steel framing with steel and brick exterior finishes and a steel roof.
