2025 Liquid Fuels Project (Arch Street - 5th Avenue to 6th Avenue, North 4th Avenue - Main Street to Chestnut Street, North 3rd Avenue - Main Street to Summer Street Road, Pine Street - 5th Avenue to a dead end) The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Mill and overlay 755 tons of 1.5" 9.5mm superpave, 70 tons of 4.5" 25mm superpave base repair, and restoration of pavement markings. The work is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. Bids shall be effective for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The project documents contain provisions regarding the applicability of PA Prevailing Wages. Liquid Fuels funds will be utilized for funding a portion of this project and all materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified The Borough of Royersford reserves the right to reject any or all BIDS or portions thereof and to accept any BIDS, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is for the best interest of the Borough. Arch Street from 5 th Avenue to 6 th Avenue, North 4 th Avenue from Main Street to Chestnut Street, North 3 rd Avenue from Main Street to Summer Street Road, Pine Street from 5 th Avenue to the dead end. Site restoration is not included in the Bid Schedule as a separate item and will considered incidental for all restoration required. Site restoration shall include site cleanup, removal of excess materials, removal of construction debris from inlets and manhole covers, topsoil and seeding, repair or replacement of any fence, restoration of non-seeded surfaces, and replacement of shrubs, trees, bushes, or other vegetation damaged during construction.
