Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Work of this proposed Contract comprises remodeling and demolition, including general construction, structural, mechanical, and electrical Work. Project Location: JCSD Softball Team Facility. 6501 NW 62ND AVE. Johnston, Iowa50131. Doc note - Bid documents may be obtained at Beeline + Blue, 2507 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa50312, 515-244-1611. One sets of Bid Documents can be obtained by general contract bidders upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash, in the amount of $50 for one set. A second, non-refundable check for $25 made out to the printer shall be included if shipping is desired Deposit will be refunded if Bid Documents are returned complete, undamaged, unmarked and reusable, within fourteen (14) days of bid submission. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of deposit. Call INVISION Architecture, 515.633.2941, for questions regarding availability of plans. Bidder shall use complete sets of Bidding Documents in preparing Bids; neither the Owner nor Architect assumes responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. Bid Documents are made available only for the purpose of obtaining offers for this project. Their use does not grant a license for other purposes. Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount on AIA A310 Bid Bond Form, or standard surety company form, or a certified bank check made payable to the Owner(Treasurer of Waterloo Schools). a. Check may be either a cashier's check, a check certified by a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States or a certified share draft on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States. 1. Provide a 100 percent Performance Bond on AIA A312, or standard surety form. 2. Provide a 100 percent Payment Bond on AIA A311, or standard surety form. Include the cost of Performance and Payment Bonds in the Bid Amount and identify the cost when requested.
