Electrical Panels: the project scope includes electrical panel shutdowns affecting multiple locations. Shutdown requests must be submitted 2-weeks prior as noted in 00 50 00 Temporary Facilities and Controls. 2. Mechanical Room: the D1 space is directly above a large mechanical room. This mechanical room is accessible, and the utilities are exposed. However, the contractor should note the difficulty of accessing floor penetrations from within the mechanical room. The mechanical room is a tall space (23 ft), and there are numerous ducts and utilities that make it difficult to physically access the D1 floor from use of a ladder. Contractors are required to view this level at bid walk. Be aware of, and include in bid, the appropriate amount of time, means and methods, of providing access to the work involved with utilities in this space.
