The scope of work includes partial demolition, new construction, asbestos abatement, removal and replacement of flooring, painting, HVAC, fire suppression and electrical as further detailed in the plans and specifications. The Age Strong Renovations project encompasses interior improvements to the Age Strong Department at the Boston City Hall, which includes selective demolition & asbestos abatement, new partition layout, new fixtures and finishes, acoustic treatments at ceilings, walls, & doors, and upgrades to MEP systems. Final completion within 120 days. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Age Strong Renovations are within the facilities of the Age Strong Commission, located at the following address: 1 City Hall Square Room 271 Boston, MA 02201. 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women.
