The San Bernardino County, Department of Public Works - Special Districts (Department), is seeking Proposals, on behalf of all Board-governed special districts, including all County Service Areas and their Zones, Big Bear Valley Recreation and Parks District, and Bloomington Recreation and Parks Districts (collectively, District). The Department seeks qualified Proposers to provide on-call routine maintenance, emergency grading services, storm cleanup and debris removal/disposal and grading services for projects that do not exceed the amount identified in Public Contract Code section 22032(a) and County Code section 14.0102(e) ($75,000 as of January 1, 2025), for roads (dirt and paved), easements, parks, water and sanitation facilities, TV translator sites, drainage facilities, storm damage cleanup, and other related facilities and services as needed. The number of awards will be determined by the quality of the proposals received. To ensure comprehensive coverage and availability of services across the County, multiple contracts will be awarded. This approach will establish a robust pool of qualified Contractors capable of addressing service needs simultaneously and throughout the County. The Contract period will be for a maximum of 5 years from the effecting date of the agreement.
