The purpose of this project is to rapidly implement drainage preparations per the Vista Fire Burned Area Emergency Response [BAER] on the San Bernardino National Forest, Front Country Ranger District. This contract provides for the equipment, labor, and services necessary to perform work ordered by the Government for installing two hazard signs, one 6" gate, one 8" gate, placing 25 rock boulder barricades, and 1 mile of restore drainage function, in compliance with the terms, specifications, drawings and provisions of this contract. Locations of work will be directed by the Forest Service. The San Bernardino National Forest has hazard signs, posts, 6" closure gate (All parts), and an 8" closure gate locking post located at the San Bernardino National Forest Supervisor's Office. The project location is in multiple locations on the Front Country Ranger District The terrain can be relatively flat in a few areas and moderately hilly and steep in others. Soil conditions vary as well, from soft and sandy to compacted and extremely rocky. The address is 602 S. Tippecanoe Ave, San Bernardino, CA, 92408. The Government has estimated project magnitude and price range of between $25K and $100K. All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email to Tanya.Torres@usda.gov, on the attached RFI form, no later than 18 March 2025, 1100 AM hours PST. There will be no Forest Service Led Site Visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 60 calendar days. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
