Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; swimming pool; swimming pool; and swimming pool.

The City of Buffalo, Department of Public Works, Parks, & Streets, will be accepting proposals for Architectural, Engineering, & Environmental services for City of Buffalo Public improvements. For purposes of this solicitation, the City's designee shall be Stephen M. Buccilli, P.E. with the Division of Parks, (716-851-5853, sbuccilli@buffalony.gov). Questions regarding the Request for Proposals shall be directed to the City's designee only, by February 25, 2025 Any impermissible contact with any other City officer or employee of the City regarding the Request for Proposals during this procurement period shall result in the rejection of any such Offeror's proposal. Offerors shall communicate in writing only via email to the email address listed in the Request for Proposals. No other communications with the City's designee regarding the Request for Proposals are permitted during the procurement period. Questions received from all Offerors will be answered in writing by the City's designee. No other officers, employees, or representatives of the City are to be contacted regarding this Request for Proposals. The City accepts no responsibility for, and the Offeror agrees not to rely upon, any non-written statements or representations by the City's designee nor verbal or written statements or representations from any other person, whether or not employed by the City. The design work anticipated for this project shall include, but not limited to, the following: a. Geotechnical testing and investigation for proposed structure(s). b. Pre-design phase to determine structural and existing utility capacities at the proposed site. c. Site Design: a. Demolition of existing pool, building(s) and site redevelopment; Contracting and Notice to Proceed: March 2025 Design, Construction and Bid Documents are to be completed within 6 months from Notice to Proceed.
