The Buffalo Blueway Harlem Road Fishing Access and Boat Launch Project upgrades and enhances the existing public access facility to encourage fishing, paddling, and passive recreation along the Buffalo River waterfront. The project work includes upland and shoreline enhancements involving site preparation, fishing deck platform, rock and natural shoreline stabilization, pedestrian walkway and staircase installation, and installation of railings and site features. Contractor must utilize the Good Faith Efforts under 5 CRR-NY 142.8, to procure combined total project goal of 30% Minority and/or Women owned Business Enterprises for construction, supplies, services, and equipment. A performance bond and payment bond will be required of the selected contractor. Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper reserves the right to reject any, or all, Bids and is not required to select or award to the lowest bidder. If Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper awards the contract for the Work, such award will be based on a combination of contractor's qualifications, responsiveness, responsibility, and calculation of unit prices to determine which bid is in the best interest of the Project.
