This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for: surface preparation and application of coatings to the steel components of Basin #2 Nearman Water Treatment Plant as outlined in Technical Specifications Section 099600 - Surface Preparation and Coating of Basin #2 (West) and Related Steel Structures. The Work is to be carried out in alignment with the basin's scheduled outage, which is currently planned for October, 2025. This timeline may be subject to change based on water demand and weather conditions. Question Deadline 04/23/2025 Proposers may request additional information by submitting their questions via email to: Jacquelyn Bagby, jbagby@bpu.com and purchasing@bpu.com BPU will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities on an as-needed basis, provided prospective vendors give adequate notice. Failure to do so shall result in rejection of bid. Bidders are required to use the printed proposal forms contained in the bid documents. Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the Kc Board of Public Utilities Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person.
