This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the procurement of 161 kV gas-insulated outdoor circuit breakers and associated spare parts. The circuit breakers shall have a continuous current rating of 3000 amps, interrupting rating of 40,000 amps, and be designed in accordance with Technical Specifications - 161 kV Gas-Insulated Circuit Breakers incorporated herein by reference. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE KC BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
