Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burley, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of seal coating approximately 8.3 miles of Howell Canyon Road, from State Highway 77 to the Howell Canyon Gate, and fog sealing approximately 3.1 miles of Howell Canyon Road, from the Howell Canyon Gate to the Mount Harrison lookout. Approximately 0.6 miles of the road running from Howell Canyon Road to Lake Cleveland will also be fog sealed. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete project shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements. The work performed under this contract shall be completed between June 2, 2025 and August 15, 2025. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Burley Highway District as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Burley Highway District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Burley Highway District.
