Renovation of a parking garage in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
In general, the work consists of: the repair and modernization of elevator I (hydraulic elevator serving N. Lake Street) and elevator 2 (traction elevator serving N. Francis Street), located within parking ramp 46, at the University of Wisconsin -- Madison. The work includes new elevator and elevator recall, as well as all related building upgrades as required to meet the elevator manufacturer and building code requirements. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. PN - 21E1Q
