project cancelled Scope:- The Project is located at 922 2nd Street and consists of the construction of all site improvements needed to accommodate the installation and operation of the GAC vessel and installing the vessel. This includes all on-site work, CMU wall, and fencing, providing the GAC vessel and interconnecting piping (pipe tree) required between vessel, the well head, and the distribution system, installing the initial charge of GAC in the vessel, and providing startup, acceptance testing, O&M manuals, and training The work comprises the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete this project as detailed on the plans and in the specifications for this contract. 2Time for Completion. The planned time frame for substantial completion of construction of the project is 75 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Christiana Giedd cgiedd@cityofripon.org The Contractor shall be responsible for providing services as summarized below. The scope of services shall include the following tasks: 1. Evaluate existing site information and conduct any needed additional site investigations including surveying to determine property lines, geotechnical evaluations, and utility locating. 2. Design of the concrete pad and CMU wall. The CONTRACTOR will review the site survey and site plans provided in the drawings. Designs shall be stamped by a Structural Engineer with a California license. Design shall be reviewed and approved by the CITY. 3. Ensure that the sand filter from Well 3 complies with the GAC influent requirements. 4. Create and maintain a project schedule that assures compliance with all related deadlines including coordination of the schedule with the GAC vessel SUPPLIER and the CITY. 5. Ensure work is completed under effective quality control and assurance and safety programs developed by the CONTRACTOR. 6. Establish and implement a health and safety program during construction 7. Construct the necessary site improvements, including a concrete foundation, 7 foot masonry CMU block wall adjacent to single-family residential parcels and a slatted cyclone fence with gate adjacent to alley, and connection to the existing system 8. Coordinate the schedule with the GAC vessel SUPPLIER for delivery of the vessel to Well 3 9. Offload the GAC vessel upon delivery 10. Install the GAC vessel 11. Install the piping to connect the GAC vessel to the CITY water system 12. Install all mechanical and electrical system modifications to insure a fully functioning system 13. Install the nitrate analyzer. Nitrate analyzer, controller, and cleaner shall be provided by the Contractor. Nitrate Analyzer shall be Real Nitrate Sensor NL Series Model #NL2020. Controller shall be Product #S-169000. Cleaner shall be Product #UVT-078130. 14. Install discharge to waste connected to the City storm system 15. Start up the system ensuring the system meets all design requirements 6. Provide O&M manuals, as-builts and other record documents and training for any equipment provided by CONTRACTOR and SUPPLIER 17. Conduct acceptance testing of the portion of the system ensuring the system meets all design requirements 18. Complete all punch list items to achieve final completion 19. Provide documentation of materials used in construction. Materials in contact with potable water must be certified by National Sanitary Foundation (NSF) for use in a potable water system, including NSF 61. 20. Provide all warranties and lien releases 21. Coordinate and communicate with the CITY and local agencies
