*The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves replacement of the South Park Avenue Bridge with precast concrete box culvert, streambank stabilization, road widening and repaving. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. The project will be funded by a grant from the Chester County DCD and must comply with U.S. Dept. of HUD construction, contracting, and reporting requirements.
