Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Work will include temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures and maintenance, earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete paving, curbs and footings, chain link fencing and gates, netting, shelter installation, dugout installation, roof repair, sports equipment installation, storm utilities, electric distribution, lighting. sports lighting, receptacles, field irrigation, landscape planting, and turf grass seeding. The Iowa City Community School District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, parts of any and all proposals, or to waive technical errors or omissions in submitted proposals. No submitted bid may be withdrawn until a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, without written consent of the Iowa City Community School District. The Iowa City Community School District encourages minority business firms to submit bids on this project and the successful contract bidder to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction.
