Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project Scope: This Contract provides for the improvement of bike pedestrian and roadway facilities through the installation of bike lane striping, shared lane markings, striping for parking protected bike lanes, bicycle wayfinding signage, green bike lane pavement markings, bike boxes , bike detection, and a sidewalk work for a shared use path, as well as installation of marked crosswalks, and curb ramps, and implementing leading pedestrian intervals. Project also includes utility work, and other miscellaneous work. The Federal Small Business Enterprise Program (FSBE) goal for this work is 13%. In addition , a training goal of Zero hours was established for this project. Bid opening info : Sealed submittals in response to a RFB will be opened by a purchasing representative and read aloud during a public bid opening held at the Tacoma Public Utilities Administrative Building North , 3628 S. 35th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409, conference room M -1 , located on the main floor.
