**As of May 08, 2025, this project has been awarded to Elite Contractors with the bid amount of $2,390,685.50.** Bids are invited for several items and quantity of work as follows, This contract provides for street and drainage improvements within the Heritage Subdivision within the City of Vidor. Proposed improvements include utility relocation, installation of catch basins and underground storm water drainage system, regrading the existing outfall ditch, concrete pavement replacement, repair driveways, and all associated appurtenances. Furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the construction for the City of Vidor, Texas Heritage Dr. Drainage Improvements A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Vidor or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. A Pre-Bid Conference will NOT be held on this project. All questions shall be received through online or in writing via email and addressed by Addendum. Question will be received until March 5, 2025, at 5:00PM, CST. Questions submitted after this time & date will not be answered. The City of Vidor reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Vidor for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
