Furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for the construction for the City of Vidor, Texas CDBG-MIT Flood and Drainage Facilities, Set 1 - Road and Drainage Improvement This contract provides for drainage improvements along multiple streets within the City of Vidor. Proposed improvements include regrading existing ditches, removing debris from existing culverts, removing and replacing existing culverts and drainage inlets, installation of additional drainage inlets, repair driveways and street crossings, and all associated appurtenances. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Vidor or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. A Pre-Bid Conference will NOT be held on this project. All questions shall be received through online or in writing via email and addressed by Addendum. Question will be received until Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM, CST. Questions submitted after this time & date will not be answered. The City of Vidor reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Vidor for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
