The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) recognizes the need for continuous improvement as it strives to provide safety for motorized and non-motorized users. This project shall improve on the existing prevention of unauthorized vehicles from entering RTC's facility South Strip Transit Terminal (SSTT) located on 6675 Gillespie St, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Project includes the procurement and installation of three (3) electronic gate drop arms, electrical and software supporting infrastructure, trenching, restorations, and installation of required raceways and conductors, as well as civil improvements associated with widening pavement entrance and raised centre-island, pavement markings, and advisory signage. Contractor shall reference accompanying project drawings and technical specifications for further details. It is the intent of this formal Invitation to Bid (ITB) to receive Bid Proposals from qualified Bidders to improve site conditions at the South Strip Transit Terminal to reduce unauthorized vehicles entering the facility. Final Completion of the entire Work within 315 calendar days Electronic gate drop arms shall be installed at the facility's entrance and exit drive lanes. Contractor shall provide and install power and data at each location. Each electronic gate drop arm system shall work independent of each other, have the capability of remote operation (e.g. security desk), and include an intercom system and one additional spare raceway for future security camera. The work shall include complete power and data at each location rendering system fully operational, including integration and testing into RTC's existing Lennel (R) access controls platform and Milestone Video Management System. As part of gate arm system, contractor shall include two way intercom system capable of opening the gate remotely, and provision of 700 RFID vehicle tags and a long range reader and license for readers. Location 1. Main Bus Entrance (2 electronic gate drop arms) At the main bus entrance (south end), install two separate electronic gate drop arms, ACAM sensors and supporting infrastructure, denoting two separate entry lanes into bus facility and as shown on plans.. Location 2. Bus Exit Lane (1 electronic gate drop arm) At the exit lane (north end), install one electronic gate drop arm, ACAM sensors, supporting infrastructure and advisory/warning signage as shown on plans.
