The Hardee County Industrial Development Authority and The Development Group seeks the submittal of responses from qualified individuals, firms, or entities who are interested in providing full development services from permitting and infrastructure installation to construction of housing for a housing development located on Bostick Road in Wauchula, Hardee County, Florida, while meeting certain metrics as established in the development agreement to be executed upon award. The Development Group is seeking to provide housing opportunities for residents of Hardee County and is willing and able to provide certain incentives to developers if certain metrics are met. The selected individual, firm, or entity must demonstrate knowledge of and experience with single family housing or residential community projects. All interested parties must submit the requested information within the time frame provided herein. Responses shall be prepared with the utmost attention to fair, ethical evaluation standards. It is the intent of The Development Group to negotiate a contract for the work described. The contract will be for a period of two (2) years with negotiated options to extend or renew the contract. The contract will be subject to certain performance milestones and metrics throughout the duration of the contractual relationship, and shall be terminable without cause upon written notice to the engaged entity/individual/firm by The Development Group.
