Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
To provide all labour, equipment and material for the Peter D Clark Building Envelope Rehabilitation - Phase 4 project CF000141, located at 9 Meridian Pl, Ottawa ON in accordance with the terms, conditions, drawing and specification attached/referenced herein. (the Work). 1 Work of this contract will be undertaken in phases. 2 Phase 4 of this project includes the upper and lower floors of two wings of the building as indicated within the design documents. The two wings of the building are designated as Phase 4A and Phase 4B. 3 The City of Ottawa will turn over both floors of the Phase 4A to the Contractor at the start of the project. 4 The Contractor shall complete the upper floor level within phase 4A first, followed by the ground floor level of Phase 4A. 5 Phase 4B of the contract will commence upon completion and acceptance of Phase 4A. The Contractor shall allow the City of Ottawa 4 weeks to complete a move of the building residence from phase 4B into phase 4A upon completion and acceptance of phase 4A and the start of phase 4B by the contractor. 6 The Contractor shall commence work within Phase 4B upon turnover from the City of Ottawa. 7 Work within the common room between Phase 4A and 4B must be completed with the Phase 4A work. The Contractor shall coordinate the start of work and construction of infection control barriers within Phase 4 common room of the building with the City of Ottawa prior to start of work within Phase 4 common room. The Contractor must provide 5 working days notice prior to the start of work within the Phase 4 common room. 8 The contractor shall document all existing conditions on site prior to the start of work in each phase. Documentation of existing conditions shall include photographic images taken prior to the start of work. All photographic imaging must be copied to the Vision portal prior to start of work. No allowance will be provided for damage or repair of existing interior finishes and assemblies without photographic documentation confirming the existing conditions prior to the start of work.
