Renovation of an educational facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,000-square-foot educational facility.
Project to final planning as it is going to be rebid. Remove approx. 11,000 sf of existing roof to roof deck as highlighted in yellow of attached roof plan. System consists of 4" of polyiso isulation and adhered EPDM non ballast - Gutters and Downspouts to remain - All removals and protection of surrounding areas are the responsibility of the roofing contractor. Repairs of any damage to existing is also the responsibility of the of the roofing contractor including concrete and grass areas - Install new system consisting of minimum R30 polyiso 20 psi insulation, 1/2" hd coverboard, 60 mil adhered EPEM membrane, 20 yr warranty Replacing approx. 11,000 sf of roofing at the Middle School located at 3820 Harry Langdon Blvd in Council Bluffs IA 51503. Work is to be completed during the summer of 2025 and be completed before students return to school in August of 2025 Start Work - 6/1/25 Completion of Work - August 14, 2025 Each Bidder shall accompany the bid with a bid security in a separate envelope. The bidder's security shall be in an amount equivalent to 5% of the bid amount and shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check. The bid security will be held by the owner until a contract is fully executed and bonds are approved by the owner. The District reserves the right to negotiate the pricing, terms or conditions with any contractor with respect to their submitted proposal.
