Demolition and site work for a swimming pool in Manchester, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool.
The scheduled work consists of demolition and removal of the existing Hunt Pool and bathhouse including foundations, walkways, interior furnishings and fixtures, and other items identified on the Drawings. The work includes maintenance of traffic, design build electrical work, cutting and capping of existing utilities, walkway repair and site restoration. The anticipated project schedule is to start construction about Spring 2025 and complete construction about Fall 2025. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond for the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Contract Price, payable to: "Department of Public Works, City of Manchester, N.H.", as security for the execution of the Contract. A Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the Contract price will be required from the successful bidder. Question Deadline 03/04/2025 Questions regarding this Invitation to Bid should be directed to: Kate Waldo (kwaldo@manchesternh.gov), or by calling the DPW directly at (603) 624-6444. All questions must be received no later than seven (7) business days prior to the bid opening. Any questions received after that time will not be answered. Every interpretation made to a Bidder will be in the form of an addendum to the Sealed Proposal Invitation which, if issued, will then be posted on the website: www.manchesternh.gov/bids no later than five (5) business days prior to the bid opening. All individuals, firms, partnerships, or corporationsintending to bid must be prequalified forthe project. Those contractors who have not submitted their Annual Prequalification forms and are interested in bidding shall be required to submit their project specific prequalification form at least five (5) working days prior to the bid opening
