The City of Manchester, NH, through its Department of Public Works (DPW), Facilities Division, is requesting bids for goods and services in the professional removal of existing caulkings, prepwork and reinstallation of new caulkings in City owned schools and public buildings. This will be an on-call and as-needed basis. The City of Manchester, NH, owns and maintains approximately 90 structures and grounds, buildings ranging from offices to schools and other city buildings. Manchester is seeking qualified contractors who can perform caulking and sealant services for projects throughout the City of Manchester. Caulking and sealant systems - interior and exterior, possibly having brick, block, windows, control joints, contraction/expansion joints in the structures, stone, precast, roofing coping/flashing, concrete pads, steps, and paving. Questions or comments regarding this proposal shall be directed in writing only to Ken Hopple via e-mail at khopple@manchesternh.gov, and received no later than Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The initial term or length of the contract will begin on or around April 24th, 2025 and end on December 31, 2025. After that, the DPW shall have the option to renew the contract for four (4) additional consecutive one year periods under the same terms and conditions subject to appropriation of funds. DPW and the Selection Committee reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for failure to meet the requirements contained herein, to waive any technicalities, and to select the proposal which DPW and the Selection Committee sole judgment best meets the requirements of the project. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
