In general, this work consists of: Temporary bypass pumping for lift station rehabilitation to provide continuous sewer service during rehabilitation. Demolition of existing piping, valves, vents, motors, blowers, drains, stairs, railings, and all other related items as shown on the plans. Remove existing pumps (3) and replace with Sulzer XFP150E CB1 Submersible Pumps (3) or engineer approved substitute, including pump stands and pump pads. Demolition of existing electrical system, including demolition of MCC, lighting and receptacles, pump motor feeders and terminal boxes, pump control floats and transducer, electrical service equipment, autosensory controls, telephone service, removal of pole and relocation of SCADA antenna. Miscellaneous lift station site improvements including, installation of metal handrails on the concrete electrical platform, installation of a concrete pad, and removal and replacement of wet well and valve vault access hatches with access hatches that include metal safety grates, including all associated appurtenances, as shown on the plans. Installation of galvanized steel platform, including foundation, platform, stairs, handrails, and all required appurtenances. Installation of 316 stainless steel riser piping and discharge piping with pipe supports. Installing a portion new 12-inch AWWA C-900 green force main with pipe supports. Wet connections to existing 8-inch sanitary sewer force mains. Surface preparation of wet well interior and valve vault interior for the application of cementitious liner, including cleaning, removal and disposal of sediment, grit, sludge, existing epoxy or protective coating lining, and unsound concrete. Repair wet well interior with a cementitious material for extremely harsh environments to a minimum thickness of 1-inch, and reline wet well interior with an engineer approved epoxy coating including surface preparation. Install electric overhead monorail crane for pumps. Install a new crushed concrete access drive for the lift station per the plans with geogrid. Site restoration of disturbed areas, including replacing existing concrete, sidewalks, turf, shrubs, fences, and trees, including trimming trees as required. Electrical system installation, including automatic transfer switch, low voltage panel, site lighting, receptacles, ductbank, conductors, conduits, and all appurtenances for a complete and functional system as described in plans and specifications. Installation of on-site natural gas generator including sound attenuating enclosure, generator pad, and all required equipment for a fully functional emergency generator system.
