WORK DESCRIPTION A. Horizontal directional drilled water main (12”). B. Valves, vaults, frames, lids and appurtenances. C. Turf, pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk, etc. replacement. D. Other work as described within the plans and specifications. Project Description: The Project shall consist of installing 5,381 ft of 12” raw water main along Ohio Avenue and Kautz Road; and all other appurtenant work and materials necessary to complete the project as specified. SCOPE OF WORK The provisions of Article 104.02 of the Standard Specifications are hereby amended as follows: “The City of Saint Charles expressly reserves the right to remove from or add to the project any watermain or portions thereof currently included in the Ohio Avenue and Kautz Road Raw Water Main. Such reduction or addition, if any, shall be made in writing by the City following identification of the apparent low-bidder, and prior to execution of the Contract Documents. Any reduction in the estimated scope of work required by the City prior to execution of the Contract Documents shall not result in an adjustment to the unit prices originally bid.” Question Deadline: 03/26/2025 at 5:00 PM CT procurement@stcharlesil.gov
