Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The program consists of approximately 1,100 square feet of intermit tent removal and replacement of concrete side walk and 285 square yards of PCC alley pavement removal and replacement located throughout the City. The program may also include the installation of detectable warning panels, intermittent curb and gutter removal and replacement, PCC driveway pavement, land scape restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bid proposals, to waive any informality in any bid proposal, to re-advertise the proposed services, and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the City. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the bid. The bid bond shall be in the form of a bid bond (IDOT form 12230 or equal), certified check or cashiers check drawn on a responsible bank doing business in the United States and shall be made payable to the City of West Chicago. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor-Mechanical Payment Bond, both in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount as a security for the faithful performance of this contract and as a security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract, respectively. Any Bidder in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the specifications or other contract documents may obtain information from the Director of Public Works regarding clarification of the plans and specifications by submitting a written request to the Director of Public Works.
