Site work for a water / sewer project in Birchwood, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of Water Lines Washburn County Housing Authority is currently accepting bids for the REPLACEMENT OF WATER LINES at Birch Haven Manor in Birchwood, two buildings. Expected work to be completed (but not limited to): removal of copper water lines and replaced with PEX A lines. This entails cold, hot and return lines. These water lines will be secured inside the 2 buildings, run down each hallway and into each unit (20), community room (1), restroom (1), and laundry rooms (2). Outside lawn faucets will also be replaced (6). Completion of this project must be on or before October 31, 2025. Contractors must provide state and local business licenses and liability insurance. A Performance and Payment Bond between contractor and owner (WCHA) will be on file before any work is to commence. Washburn County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities in any bid, or to accept any bid which will best serve the interest of the Housing Authority For any questions, please contact Eva Johnston at 715-635-2321.
