Central Carolina Technical College is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide labor and materials for the installation of LED lighting at the Health Science building located in Sumter, SC. The college will provide LED light fixtures. All work must be performed outside college business hours unless otherwise authorized to not interrupt normal business operation. Specifications Central Carolina Technical College is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide labor and materials for the installation of LED lighting at the Health Science building located in Sumter, SC. The current lighting in this building consists of fluorescent fixtures, which will be replaced by LED lighting. The college will provide the LED lights, and the vendor will be responsible for the labor, including any necessary small materials, and addressing any fixture-related issues, such as defective units or missed quantities. All work must be performed outside college business hours unless otherwise authorized to not interrupt normal business operations Scope of Work The scope of this project includes the following tasks: 1. Removal of Existing Fluorescent Fixtures o Disconnecting and removing existing fluorescent light fixtures. o Proper disposal of the old fluorescent lights and associated components. 2. Installation of LED Lighting Fixtures o Installation of provided LED lights in the existing fixture locations. o Ensure proper electrical connections and secure mounting. o Test new lighting to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. 3. Labor for Fixtures with Issues o Defective Fixtures: If any provided LED fixtures are found to be defective (e.g., malfunctioning or damaged from the factory), the vendor will be responsible for replacing owner provided replacement at no additional cost, including the labor for the removal and reinstallation. o Missed Quantities: If the original quantity count provided by the college is insufficient or incorrect, the vendor will include the labor required to install any additional fixtures, as well as any necessary small materials, to complete the job. The vendor will notify the college if any discrepancies are found. 4. Small Materials o Provide small materials such as wire, connectors, and any other supplies needed to complete the installation. 5. Safety and Compliance o Ensure that all work meets applicable local, state, and national codes and standards. o Follow all safety protocols during the installation process. o Obtain any required licenses or permits. 6.
