**Per Addendum 2 the bid date has been extended from 03/27/25 to 04/01/25** Remove air handling unit and existing hot and chilled water piping, and installation of roof top package heat pump, to include electrical connections, new ceiling diffusers, ceiling systems, gypsum wall patching, floor patching, structural support and roofing. Small and Minority Business participation is highly encouraged. *The value for this project is based on a financial range $300,00 0 to $350,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Removal of existing air handling unit and installation of new roof top heat pump. 2. Selective demolition of portions of the existing HVAC system including existing piping and ceilings. Note that asbestos abatement shall be performed under Student Union, Replace RTU-2 and Upgrade HVAC separate contract and this contractor shall be responsible for coordinating schedule and work activities with the abatement contractor. 3. New acoustical lay-in ceilings, concrete floor patching, gypsum board wall patching, new vinyl floor tiles, structural steel framing for RTU support, and roofing. 4. All power and control wiring. Control wiring shall be 120 volts or less. 5. Test and balance of existing HVAC systems in the building, and modification of existing roof top units to disable economizer sequence. 6. Control Management, Inc. is the only approved control vendor for this project. No other control contractors shall be approved. BASE BID: Work to include but not limited to, removal of existing air handler, and installation of new roof top package heat pump system. The contractor is responsible for any required temporary removal and reinstallation of existing ceiling grid as required to complete the mechanical work, installation of new ceilings, new gypsum board walls, flooring and concrete floor patching. The contractor is responsible for structural support modifications for roof top condensing unit and roofing work to flash roof curb.
