Site work and renovation of a civil project in Medford, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of April 01, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on April 14, 2025. Major components of the Work include: o Construct addition to the existing Headworks building and rehabilitate existing building o Modify the existing fine screen o Furnish and install new screenings wash/compactor, grit removal system and grit classifier o Construct aeration basin bypass piping o Rehabilitate existing chemical feed building o Construct a new septage receiving tank including mixers and pumps o Rehabilitate existing aerobic digester including replacement of existing internal piping and diffusers o Construct a new biofilter odor control system Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract shall be subject to Wis. Stats. 66.0903 pertaining to prevailing wage rates and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract in accordance with federal labor standards (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts [DBRA]), Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act domestic procurement, Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 Section 3 (24 CFR 75), Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 30 days after the actual day of the opening thereof. The Owner encourages MBEs, WBEs, and SBRAs to submit Bid proposals. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Advertisement for Bids may be funded in part by a grant from the Community Development Block Grant Program and Clean Water Fund Program. The City of Medford reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City. Question Deadline 03/05/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 10 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
