Description: In general, the project consists of constructing a 28 ft x 24 ft CMU well house with well pump room, electrical room, and chemical room; furnishing and installing a 500 gpm submersible well pump in a well drilled by others; modifying the City's existing water control system to include the new well; abandoning three existing test wells; and associated site and utility improvements. We encourage DBEs, including MBEs and WBEs, to submit bids. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and fringes set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applications for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other protected class.
