SCOPE OF WORK: Electrical: Improvements remove and replace the existing electrical service to station, Generators, automatic transfer switches. Remove and replace all electrical apparatus and conduit vaults. Replace French drain's pump and control panels. Please send no cashier checks for bid bonds, the cashier check will be sent back to the vendor and bid will not be accepted. The bidder must submit Proof of Insurance and a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount to Latonjia Williams (purchasing@thecolonytx.gov). Originals must be submitted in the bid packet OR received by the Purchasing Manager before the bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of amount bid from a Surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, within fifteen (15) days of the bid award. The bidder must submit, prior to the bid opening time, proof of insurance to Purchasing Manager (purchasing@thecolonytx.gov). Originals submitted In the bid packet OR received before bid opening by the Purchasing Manager. The winning bidder, upon City acceptance, will be required to provide the City with a minimum two (2) year maintenance bond. The maintenance bond shall be in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or ten (5%) percent of the amount of the contract, whichever is greater, but not to exceed one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount The City of The Colony reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept the bid which, in its discretion, is in the best interest of the City of The Colony.
